Well-Being Technologies


The course provides a sound grounding in the design of positive computing systems for cognitive and physical wellness, disease prevention, and rehabilitation. Starting from the underlying physical principles, students will learn how to use and combine sensors and wearable devices with related software development systems and advanced methods of Computational Intelligence. Students will participate to the discussion of several case studies.

One sixth of the credit is obtained through a final project.
