Computational Neuroengineering

The course covers the fundamentals in the following areas: neurons – biophysical modeling and advanced simulation techniques, synapses – phenomenological models vs. biophysical models, exponential synapses in one and two time constants, synaptic plasticity, neuron networks, simplified models, and connectivity role in network dynamics.

One sixth of the credit is obtained through a final project.
